A plant with long and narrow leaves, the palmarosa is recognizable by its geranium-like flowers. It is found in India, Vietnam and on islands like Madagascar. Its very aromatic leaves allow to obtain an essential oil particularly appreciated in cosmetics, whose smell is similar to that of the rose. In addition to its interest for the skin, palmarosa essential oil has always been one of the essentials of traditional Indian medicine.
