We thus preserve all its benefits: the fatty acids of its seeds and the nutrients of its fruit. When they are ripe, whole rosehips are picked by hand. After natural drying at altitude in open air, the fruits are ground at a very low temperature. This technique, called cryogrinding, helps preserve all of the plant's properties. It is a little-known fact that rosehip seeds are used to make Chilean musk rose oil, which works wonders for the skin.
